About us
A little more about us…I am NOT The Smiling Homeschooler…you are. I’m just the guy who’s gonna make you smile. My name is Todd Wilson and folks all over know me as The Familyman. For the last 16 years I’ve traveled across the country with my wife Debbie and eight children reminding families about what matters most. While my primary focus has been dads, I’ve spoken at most of the state homeschool conventions and many local homeschool groups across America and Canada. My message is simple, Home is the best place for your children, Parents are the best teachers of their children, Every child is a masterpiece, and relationship is the most important part of homeschooling.
About our family
My wife Debbie and I have been married for 28 years, have eight children, and have been homeschooling since our oldest started school.
Our children range in age from 25 to 10 and have all been homeschooled (four have graduated). Our oldest, Ben is married to Rissa, and have an adorable little girl named Renley and are expecting another child in January. Sam, is an animator and is working on several animated series. Katherine is an executive assistant for a large manufacture. Ike works in the heating and cooling industry. Abe is still in school but working for a contractor as well. Maggie, Cal, and Jed are still in the throws of homeschooling, but will be done before we know it.
